The RN Mark E1-18 is an intelligent Industrial Inkjet Printer for CIJ Printing directly on products, corrugated cartons and boxes, bags or extrusions, simply and quickly. Using the included RNSoft Label Designer Software, easily configure and Deploy the Print-Messages for Inkjet Coding and Marking of Lot numbers, Expiry date and Production Date, time stamps and any Text, this inkjet printer device can also print product graphics and has resident fonts for 1D barcodes and also 2D Codes such as QR Code Printer and DataMatrix.

The E1-18 from RN Mark provides an High-Tech alternative to the dot matrix print fonts of traditional Continuous Inkjet Printer or the Inkjet Marking Printers that produce old Low Resolution fonts using Valve-Jet technology. With it's robust High Resolution output and a standard Print-Height of .70 / 18mm, you can perform both Direct Product Coding on virtually any Non-Porous surface as well as Case Coding (Porous Surfaces) with this Coding Printer.

SOFTWARE:

The RNSoft Label Designer and Print Software is included. When installed onto a PC, easily upload Print Messages to the E1-18 controller. Also, when connected to IP Network, RN Soft allows the user to configure Data Integration to Excel Spreadsheet data, Connectivity Drivers for popular Databases is supported and also Auto-Data feeds from a controlling PLC.

RNSoft also provides printer control and monitoring of multiple printers accross the production floor.

PRINT OPERATION:

Mount the RN Mark E1-18 to your conveyor or production line, with the included bracketry (includes bracketry for Side/Horizontal printing only). Printhead is adjustable for Top-Down Printing or Side Print Marking.

**Choose the Optional Floor Stand, when mounting is not preferrable.

The printer has a built-in PhotoCell (Print-Go Trigger) that is designed to detect the product surface of the carton to be printed. Upon the user configurable Print-Delay being reached inkjet printing will occur automatically.

This printer must be pre-configured to the line speed of the conveyor, if using a fixed speed conveyor.

**Choose the Optional Shaft Encoder for when variable Line speeds are involved and when printing Barcodes.

NOTE: If using the E1-18 as a stand-alone printer: The on-board LCD Display and Buttons of the RN Mark E1-18 allows user to search and select through the up to (100) pre-stored imprints. Requires the user to locate the message-name of the previously configured imprint, to select it for printing.

*In stand-alone, Print Messages are saved into printer via USB Flash Drive.

INKJET CARTRIDGES:

• Ink Colors Available: Black, White, Yellow
• Ink Colors / Cartridges are Interchangeable, with Flushing Fluids
• The Solvent based inks from RNMark are able to print on Non-Porous surfaces including, metal, plastic and glass
• Print on any absorbent surface, with the use of the standard ink cartridge.
